FLASH POINT IFWBH Gas Fired Indirect Water Bath Heaters are skid mounted, factory assembled, fully tubed & wired units designed in full compliance to API 12K to heat natural gas and oil .
The fuel gas piping system of Flash Point Indirect Fired Water Bath heaters is designed in accordance with the latest edition of ASME B31.3 . Every component of the water bath heater is hydrostatically tested to at least 1.5 times the design pressure. IFWBH heaters are normally gas fired using natural draft burners . Outputs of our standard models range from 0.1 Million BTU/hour to 12.5 Million BTU per hour. They can be configured to suit your needs for use in hazardous areas (Class 1, Div. 1 or 2) where safety is a concern. They can also be designed to operate in remote areas where electrical power is not available. IFWBH Bath heaters comprise a horizontal cylindrical shell containing the heat transfer media in which a fire tube and a process coil are immersed . Process fluid is indirectly heated by heat transfer from the fire tube across the heating media. Tube bundles and fire tubes are both removable as required by API 12K . The fire tube can either be a single 'U' tube or twin 'U' Tube design with each tube having an independently controlled burner.
For efficient control and system safety , Process Logic Controllers & process Safeguards interlocked with a Burner Management System (BMS) are employed.
